now the whole story.this was done on 3rd of December.no,they do not share the same birthdate.Fara's(on the left) was on 30th November and Muna's on the 2nd December.so i did this on 3rd December(Biology paper for SPM) because Muna believes it's jinx to celebrate birthdays earlier.so,here you go,a day later.good enough?(winks).

this celebration was done in quite a rush because we have paper 3 after that.so the whole stuff went like just putting on the candles(without lighting it),then took picture of it,then with the girls,then with me,then cutting the cake,eat a little bit(who am i kidding?),and we're back to Ass Pee Am! this post is pretty much pointless...
just writing it out of boredom,so if you're bored,come with me and read it till the end(it's real short!)
so here's how it starts,,,,,,,

there's a couple,husband and wife,they're arguing for the time being and is not in talking terms with each other...
but that night,the husband remembered that he has got a really important meeting tomorrow,he's gonna have to ask his wife to wake him up tomorrow as he needs to get up real early as to not miss the meeting.

but there's one tiny itty bitty problem!they're not in talking terms!how is he supposed to tell her to wake him up without letting his ego down by giving in to her?

and so...after a few minutes of nerve wrecking,thinking real hard of a solution,finally he found a great way of telling her,without talking to her,by writing her a note.
so he left the note on her make-up table...a note saying,"wake me up at 6.30am tomorrow.got a real important meeting to attend."

after leaving the note,he felt so relieved and content as his problem is solved...but wait!this is not the end!
the next morning,he woke up,he looked at the clock in the bathroom...oh my ********!it's already 7.30am!he;s definitely gonna miss the meeting.
he went out of the bathroom.raging!full of anger to his wife for not waking him up!suddenly as he walked pass cupboard,he saw something outrageous.half laughing,half still angry to his wife,he picked up the paper on the cupboard...it says,"wake up!it's 6.30am!you're gonna be late for the meeting!"

worst part!she fell asleep and i'm left alone!duh...!!!

so it's like only 8.18am(p.c. time) now...
so my day hasn't really started yet...
this year there's gonna be a little bit of a difference in Merdeka celebration.
they'll be having it at Dataran Parlimen instead of Dataran Merdeka...and only 1600 spectators are allowed to come...
well...doesn't really matter to me,i only watch it on telly every year...(i'm un-patriotic,i know!lol!)

well uh...this happened like quite a while...just thought I'd write about it now.

the romance started when my she entered the class.suddenly she said,"siape nak join kuiz kimia kebangsaan?".since I'm not a tiny bit interested in that particular subject,i kinda ignored it.

suddenly the danging(not a dirty word!lol!) teacher said,"oh,ye!,members club science wajib participate!".oh craps!I'm one of those members,lah!so out of zero option,i just participated.

this is the best part,during the quiz,which was held on 16th July 2009,i sat at the very last table,together with some boys from my class!i was already sighing,of course i'm gonna be bored throughout the quiz cause i don't really speak to boys,i'm a lesbian!lmao!

about 5 minutes before it starts,suddenly Shikin came running in!we were all staring at her!not because she was late,but because she's from 5Ak2!which happens to be an Accounts class!obviously they don't learn chemistry!then she sat beside me.(i was relieved,at least there's a girl!lol!)

then the teacher announced,"ok2,get ready,just a reminder,shade jawapan pakai pencil 2B ye...".this is by far the bestest part!Shikin suddenly stands up and kinda shouted(we were in the library!) "sape ade pencil lebih?!".i was like,whoa!lol!she could've just asked from someone sitting near her instead of shouting out loud!lmao!

then2,everyone shook their head,apparently as we enter high school,most of us just carry one or none pencil to school!so this Shikin was like,"alamak!macam mane ni?".out of curiosity,i asked her,"ko tak bawak pencil ke?" which i know,was a danging stupid question cause obviously she doesn't have it with her,or else she wouldn't be shouting for a pencil!haha!her answer was,"bukan pencil je aku takde,aku takde pape!",then evilness terserlah!i laughed real hard!haha!it seemed funny at that moment!

apparently she didn't know it was a written quiz!so to redeem my evilness for laughing at her,i asked around for a pencil!no luck!suddenly Harzarul called me,said he got an extra pencil!i said,"hah!bagilah!".then he pulled it out of his pencil case,the pencil was like 5cm long,maybe less!i was trying really hard to stop myself from laughing as i handed it to Shikin!she was like,"aaa...bolehlah..."haha!

so this is basically a story of a pencil more than it is a story of chemistry!but i just like the title!lol!anyways,i was playing rubik's cube most of the time,competing with Zarul on who gets to solve the cube faster!so conclusion is,the chemistry quiz was more a rubik's competition to me!lol!

My name is Nurul Syahirah. You can call me Ira if that's too tongue twisting for you to pronounce and too complicated for you to remember. I'm turning 17 this year.i have a good life.nothing to complain about.I'm loud. Right off the bat, within 2 minutes of meeting me, one realizes I have no inhibitions and nothing is too much. I have a habit of shouting obscenities across the room. It passes the days with laughs and strange looks. It keeps life less monotonous.

I love taking pictures and ironically,most of them does not include me in it. I spend most of my time with the guitar, and at times with the piano. I'm not ashamed to admit that i'm a huge fan of The Jonas Brothers and All Time Low.I'm into literature but I hate studying it. Get what i mean? Yes? Good! No? Never mind!

A lot of people judge me in a bad way, and they don't even know me. i'm not saying i'm a good person, but i don't think i'm a bad one either. I don't know if jealousy got them, but other than that, they don't have any reasonable excuse to hate me.it makes you look ridiculous more than anything else. so i guess you should stop and think about yourself? Deal?

I feel every human is exactly the same. Our differences are superficial. Partaking in discrimination is something we do out of fear. At our core, we all desire the same basic things. We're all human, and to look at one human and say they are less than you because of some superficial differences is naive and an act of immaturity.

Life is sacred and treasured. I want the world to succeed. I want every child to have enough food and an education. I want a cure for AIDS and all types of cancer. I want peace and harmony. I want all of these things. I am aware that it will never happen. I don't sit and wait for it to happen. I know it's a fairytale, but that doesn't mean that I don't dream for it.

At the end of the day, i'm Syahirah. Words won't capture my essence, just like they could never capture yours.

actually this happened yesterday,we were at some newly opened restaurant in search of the so-called-delicious kuey teow(yeah rite) but didn't find it,so we ended up eating at another stall.
we were eating(me,mama,petak) when suddenly the 8pm news starts...first headline:"PPSMI kembali BM" i was like..."what the h***?!"

i mean honestly,this is so damn stupid!whoever made this decision might as well kill himself!honest!this is like killing our own generation!
i mean c'mon!english in sc and math were started back in the year 2003,and i have yet to see any negative outcome from it,why are they reverting it to BM all of a sudden?
don't get me wrong.i'm not anti-Malay or something...i'm a malay and i'm proud to be one(i'd be prouder if malays would accept challenges)...but i believe,these kinds of things are the reasons why most succesful Malays are embarrased to admit themselves to be ANAK MELAYU.malays are afraid to accept challenges!

doesn't mean when you speak in english,you're admitting yourself as a western-er,stop being close minded people!it just shows that we're standing up to the challenges ahead of us.by doing math and sc in bm,i believe that all we're doing is learn for exams and not for life.do you really think with knowing only one language you'd be able to go far?dream on...

even if you say by scoring all those papers you'd be able to go far,think of it,what about going overseas?speak in malay when you're in London?do that and you'll be their laughing stock!alright,look at it this way,most chinese masters two languages,chinese and malay,indians,tamil and malay,how about us malays?just Bahasa Malaysia?i'm not proud to be saying,"saya anak melayu.saya skor 11a1 dlm SPM.tp saya hanya tahu ckp Bahasa Malaysia" what the hell is there to be proud of?

wake up!towards one malaysia,does that means just one language?a language that is only mastered in not even a quarter part of the world?is that just how far we'd go?is that the vision Malaysians are gonna be carrying towards 2020?if that's the case,i'd have to think back a million times before using the phrase "i'm proud to be a Malaysian".

okay,so i didn't update my blog last weekend like i said i would...
nope!i didn't forget,i was toooooo busy with school thingy!
had leadership course on Saturday (i didn't wanna go,i had to as i was club president) and it took me all day!
Sunday,i was tooooooo lazy to go online,so there!lol!

back to what i was supposed to talk about,had my AFS interview on 16th June,i assure you,i messed it up!honest!i was stammering and speechless when asked even the simplest question!gosh!
nevertheless,even if i don't make it,i had a great time,made new friends and met new people!those experience is more than enough to satisfy me!(but i still hope i pass the interview!haha!)
honestly,i so miss Merve,Tim,Martin,Niel and my closest friend during the interview,Atikah...
i so regret not bringing my camera along!
well anyway,that's about everything that happened on 16th June!

next day,17th June,like i said,had my oral test,last group to be called,and that was it!lol!oh yeah, my teammates said they peek in and saw the marks, said i got 30. really?i still think that's impossible,but doesn't mean i don't want it to be true!*winks*

Well, my first blog,okay,em,we had our oral test today,for English,our group was the last one to be called!yay!lol!
anyways,they said i got 30/30!yay again!but still not sure.haha!
but still,that sort of drains out the bad feelings i had about messing up my AFS interview yesterday!
How did i mess it?
